Hop on Hop Off

Today was caught the famous London Underground from Waterloo Station after dropping off the car. After purchasing our Oyster Cards (similiar to Miki only cheaper) we headed off to Trafalgar Square where we bought a "Hop on Hop Off" bus ticket. The next 2 hours was spent looking at the history of London. We eventually hopped off at the "War Rooms" where we saw how Winston Churchill dealt with World War 2 issues and his life story.
.
We managed to get our bearings and made our way back to North Greenwich, where we bought some groceries for a night in.

Tomorrow we are off to Harrod's and some more Hop on Hop Off. Colene and Michael are off to West End production of Michael Jackson's Thriller, it will be Karina and Andrew's turn on Wednesday night.
London is a fascinating place with obvious loads of history from the majestic to the blood thirsty.

Early nights are becoming a habit. Little Kyan is doing really well and the rest of us aren't doing too bad either.

Cheers.

Day after the wedding - Andrew is a bit slow and wounded.  He was a hit last night with his rendition of Mustang Sally.  Don't know what time he got to bed.

Packed up for our trip to London. Off to lunch at the Oakhill Hotel.  It is Mother's Day over here so Colene and Karina get a double celebration this year.  Lunch was great!

We visited Stonehenge on the way - found it this time no problem - AMAZING.

Turned into a long and drawn out trip to London as we visited Abbey Road( didn't look anything like the Beatles cover) on the way in heavy traffic and then almost ran out of petrol in the heart of London and of course there was no petrol station for miles.  Thank goodness for the GPS once again we made it on 0 miles left in the tank!

Finally arrived at our apartment which was a relief for all.  Lots of space, Kyan is excited to get out of the car and move around the floor..

All had a good sleep and ready to explore London.
