Today was spent relaxing in Positano. It rained for most of the morning. We walked
around with an umbrella. We checked out
the cute shops and Colene had a visit to the hairdresser. We then explored the town.
Positano has 1 street that goes from the beach to the very top. It is a one
way narrow street that does a big loop. It took us about 2 hours to complete the
lap and of course Michael took photos
along the way – more amazing views. We stopped
at the top of the town for a coffee and some cake at the cafe where the locals
go. It was a lot cheaper than in the tourist area down below and had a
fantastic Italian atmosphere and products.
We ended the day at a restaurant overlooking Positano, it
was too cold to sit on the balcony so sat inside by the window and had some
great fresh grilled scallops, seafood risotto and lobster.
During the night we have had a big storm with lots of rain,
thunder and lightning but this morning looks ok although a little cloudy. We were told that it rains every Easter
weekend. The Easter Bunny came.
Happy Easter
With only one street, its hard to get lost. You are either look up or down.
